Yesterday i have a guest whose laptop can not connect at all network, although the wireless device is on function ... so confused ... what happens .. ???
From the experience of trouble shooting a windows-based computer ... usually if a hardware does not work the first one we check is the driver and the service.
Just check the wireless driver installed ..normal not a problem.
Sign in to service, run command: services.msc

It turns out WLAN autoconfig can not be start ... appears "Error 1747: The Authentication Service is Unknown"

Wow, thats fully of idea ... apparently the problem is "Laptop Wireless Service Not Working"
Most of the causes of failed connections in windows are the problem of damaged winsock or corrupted files.
This:
How to Resolve "Error 1747: The Authentication Service is Unknown"
1.......
Go to command prompt dosnya windows .. (must level administrator )

2. ...
After entering dos ... type "netsh winsock reset" without quotes ofcourse, Let the process runs to completion.

3......
Once the reset is complete ... then the laptop will ask for a reboot.
The winsock2 reset process becomes default and fresh has been completed ... Please try the wireless scan available ... if it still can not be continued ..
Go to windows service as above (first line)

Start service "WLAN Config" manually...
Hopefully help
